I just read about a new diet plan that is being called the “Before, During, and After Diet.” The way it works is by drinking an 8 ounce glass of water before, during, and after each meal. It is suppose to help control hunger and in the article below, users are still eating what they want, exercising, and losing weight:
As with any successful diet, you have to eat sensibly and exercise but nothing drastic and people on the water diet can still eat their favorites.
“I haven’t really changed my diet I still eat what I want,” said Teresa.
“You gotta use a lot of common sense, but water definitely helps,” said Greg.
But would this be considered a fad diet? I think it’s not that bad of a diet compared to everything that is out there. Water does help hunger and increasing your water intake doesn’t hurt either. I do my best to drink 64 ounces of water a day. I do notice that I snack less and it does wonders for my complexion. I don’t drink many sugary drinks and soda is a no-no.
As far as fads go, yes, it could be a fad but it is definitely one of the better ones.
