It has been almost a year since my last blog post here. In all honesty, I was burned out on writing about anything health and fitness related. I started this blog back in 2006 (if you’d like to know more about me, read here). Not only has this blog aged but so have I. I don’t view fitness in the same way I did back in my early 30’s. Now that I’m approaching 40, I’ve come to realize that fitness doesn’t have to be about achieving 6-pack abs or working hard to attain a fitness model physique. Now, all I want is to maintain a healthy weight, be able to enjoy my favorite activities, and do my daily routine without feeling tired and winded.
For some people age 40 and over, it’s about getting to a healthy lifestyle and having fun while doing it. I’ve also come to a point in my life where the mind and soul are just as important to me as the body.
In the past, I’ve written about almost every topic imaginable. I intend on continuing to write about what I find interesting, however, I will be gearing posts towards where I am in my life. These posts will probably cater more towards my age group. I do hope my articles will still benefit everyone at every age. I plan on cleaning up my categories section and focusing a lot less on fitness for the sake of physical beauty. I will do my best to write articles that are actionable, helpful, and positive. I also plan on including posts which focus on happy living. Being happy starts from within but many of us need to come to that realization. I will share my personal journey as I not only get my body fit but my mind as well.
I hope that you join me on this new blogging adventure. If you’d like to stay up to date of when new posts are added, subscribe to my newsletter on the right or below this post.
Yours in health,
