I have tried different types of workout videos over the years and for the most part, they were useful but eventually, I grew bored with them. I was contacted to try out a workout program called KettleWorx. I thought it looked interesting and the fact that it uses a kettlebell made me even more curious to try it out.
I recieved the videos and a 10 lb. kettlebell. They offer the kettlebell in sizes of 5 lbs., 10 lbs., and 20 lbs. Of course you can purchase your own kettlebell separately or just buy the videos if you already own some.
The Cool Stuff
The program has many video workouts. You can get videos for cardio, resistance training, core, abs, legs, and more. There is also an introductory video and sample workout. Personally, I don’t think I could become bored easily with this program. There is just so much you can do by changing up the videos and working out how you want.
The Tough Stuff
I started with the cardio video and I was sweating immediately. You will be doing exercises such as squats, lunges, push-ups, and others using the kettlebell. You are constantly moving which is good but it is tough. I didn’t think a 10 lb. kettlebell would be a big deal to workout with but it is when you are using it with these videos.
I really like this program and glad that I was lucky enough to try it out. I will say to start off with a light kettlebell if you haven’t been working out. You will sweat, you will feel the burn, and I highly doubt you will get bored easily.
