When you workout, you know your clothes can become embedded with sweat and even after washing them, traces of gym funk can still linger. I’ve seen WIN detergent advertised in some of the fitness magazines I read and I’ve seen it for sale at my gym. I have been curious to whether it really cleans workout wear the way it describes because even though I don’t have specialized fitness apparel, my clothes really reek after my workouts and even after a wash, they don’t smell as fresh as they could.
That is why I was thrilled to receive a sample of WIN in the mail to see if it could get the lingering smell out of my gym clothes. Putting this detergent to the test was going to work well for me since my workout clothes don’t do anything cool like wick away sweat. My t-shirts are soaked through with sweat and are not lacking in the funk department.
I gathered up my sweaty gym clothes including gym towels and tried it out. The detergent has a really nice fragrance and after I pulled my clothes out of the dryer, I must say, the funk was out and the fragrance remained. However, it wasn’t as if the fragrance was masking the oder, the stink was really gone.
I washed my other clothing with it as well including bath towels, etc. Overall, I think if you workout quite a bit and want to really get the funk out of your fitness apparel, WIN does what it says.
