Whole Foods markets are selling a limited supply of canvas bags designed by Anya Hindmarch with "I'm not a plastic bag" printed on them. They are selling only in some northeastern stores so west coasters are out of luck unless you want to bid on them on eBay for way more than their selling price of $15.
They are cute bags but I think people are buying them more as collector items rather than spreading the message of the effect of plastic bags on the environment:
Shopper Camille Sieunerine said she may sell one of her bags, "if I see it go for a good price on eBay."
"But I'm going to keep one," she said. "I'm a vegan."
As of 10:17 am ET, the blue printed bags were being bid up to about $120 each on the online auction site. At the same time, U.K. versions of the bag advertised on eBay surpassed the $200 range.
