Trying to Be Vegetarian Day 6

The Complete Asian CookbookWell, although I had planned on cooking last night, I was caught up on some unplanned errands that took up the evening and left me too tired to cook. As a result, I decided to order some Thai take-out and ordered my favorite dish of spicy drunken noodles with tofu. I usually order it with beef and that is what I love about Asian cuisine because you can always substitute tofu for any meat.

It was delicious needless to say and the tofu kept my meat craving in check. Tonight I have plans on dinner and a movie with friends so I have to face the challenge of eating out and dodging meals with meat. I do believe we are having Greek for dinner so it shouldn’t be too hard. Although, I will probably be salivating while watching my friends eat lamb.

Asian cuisine is always the easiest for me to order without meat because again, you have tofu, and a lot of dishes are based around veggies so ordering without meat doesn’t take away from the dish (ususally.) I would love to learn how to cook more Asian dishes and will probably order up a cookbook soon. If you love Asian cuisine, it is definitely a good way to eat more vegetables.
