Setting up fitness goals can be very frustrating to say the least. There are thousands of diets and workout routines flooding your life every day and it’s so hard to understand which one is right for you. My suggestions are to start simple. It’s the simple, basic principles that matter the most.
Most people want instant results and most people don’t understand when or why things are not changing. The reason most people fail is not because they are on the wrong path, but because they try to get to the finish before they start. In all aspects of life the greater the desire, the harder it is to wait.
Another mindset you need to follow is always learning from your mistakes. Be patient and know when the time is right. Look for the small results to keep you motivated, and whatever it is you are trying to achieve, you will succeed.
Now that you understand mentally what it will take to achieve your goals, write them down. Read the words above every day so you know that each day is a step forward. On top of the advice I give above diet is a core aspect to seeing results. Below I have suggested some simple guidelines to follow to start seeing drastic changes in your body.
- 5 – 8 small meals a day instead of 3 – 4 (this will speed your metabolism up, burning fat)
- One Gallon of ice water per day (Clear toxins and speed up metabolism, burning fat)
- No white carbohydrates. (Unless it’s a whole grain, or wheat, stay away)
Steps 1, 2 and 3 are simple points to help you start seeing results. Small steps to begin with and as you learn, you can incorporate your new knowledge on top of these basic principles. Remember one day at a time. Once you make the things above an everyday ritual, you will be ready for the next phase.
