David Zinczenko is the author of the original bestselling diet book, The Abs Diet. You may have been seeing his latest book The Abs Diet for Women: The Six-Week Plan to Flatten Your Belly and Firm Up Your Body for Life being advertised in the media lately which is why I wanted to learn more about it. The Abs Diet for Women is catered more towards the concerns of women which includes information on topics such as:
- Osteoporosis prevention
- Managing menopause without hormone replacement therapy
- Joint pain prevention
- Female sexual response
- Postpartum workout
- Stress reducing workout
From what I have read, it is based directly off of his original The Abs Diet so for women who have already read that book, I suggest reading some reviews first if you’re interested in this book. However, it may still be worth it if you are interested in the topics it covers above.
The author, David Zinczenko, is editor-in-chief of Men’s Health magazine (A great magazine by the way - my stepdad subscribes.) Overall, it sounds like a great plan advocating healthy eating with the author’s recommended “power foods” and full-body workouts.
