With the popularity of protein shakes (particularly after the episode of Workout which featured one that Jackie Warner makes), I thought it would be a good idea to recommend a protein powder that I use and love. I have tried various protein powders and many times I was turned off from them for a few reasons:

If you are supplementing your diet with a protein powder then it doesn’t need to contain ingredients that your body doesn’t need. After a lot of trial and error, I finally came across a protein powder that contained everything I was looking for. Jay Robb Egg White Protein Powder contains NONE of the following:

  • Artifical Sweeteners

Besides that, it tastes great. I usually mix it with water or milk but I’m sure it would taste great added to your favorite shake recipes. The fact that it doesn’t contain sweeteners or cholesterol were the big pluses for me. One serving contains 24 grams of protein and the eggs whites come from chickens not treated with hormones. I highly recommend this powder if you’re in search of a good one that doesn’t contain the junk other powders do.

It comes in both vanilla and chocolate flavors.
