The tricep rope extension is one of my favorite tricep exercises because I really feel my triceps burning (good burn) after this one. Unlike the other handle attachments you will find for this particular machine, the rope is great because it allows you to extend your arms in an outward motion on the way down. There is a particular technique to using the rope extension. The way I perform it is exactly how it is demonstrated in the video below.
I had never used the rope extension until my friend was taught by her personal trainer. She showed me and now it is a part of my weight lifting routine every time I go to the gym.
