Sounds like a very interesting read. Many people equate being “thin” with being “fit”. I guess it is just hard to look at a bony person and realize that just because they don’t have excess fat does not necessarily mean that they are physically fit. Those born with a slight build have their fitness struggles, too, and for many of them that is the ability to build and maintain muscle mass.

I wonder if this applies to women as well? An awful lot of ladies have difficulties building muscle, especially as they age.

I’m not sure this is would work I think many people who are slight in build have certain genetic difficulties with gaining a large amount of muscle mass. However looks like its worth a read.

This looks like a great read! Building muscle is all about tearing (proper workout), feeding (proper diet), and regeneration (proper rest). We all have have bodies that adhere to the same basic principals and yes, some of our bodies make it a little more difficult, but more often than not it is the method used that is the deficiency. These type of books are always worth a read because they give you new perspective and it might just be the one that gets you on the track to success! Another key is maintaining a healthy energy level to keep up with your workouts, try http://www.fighterenergystore.com for a great daily energy drink. Does anybody have a special diet that has helped them to gain quality muscle mass?

Smitty’s got it right. There are good approaches to building mass in a short period this does look like a good read. With any program it is essential to work the body hard, supply calories to rebuild and rest.

Part of working the body hard is realizing that variety matters – I’m working through a 4 week program using German Volume Training. It has pushed me through some past plateaus. http://cubedwellerfitness.com/fitness/workouts/gvt-day-9-heart-rate-zones-applied/

Keep it up.
