I’m sure most of you have at least heard of the book “” and I have added it to my Amazon wish list and will be ordering it pretty soon. The reason I bring it up is because I was browsing around and found this article “9 Health Foods That Aren’t” written by the authors. Which is a better choice?
- Bran muffin or Ham, egg, & cheese on english muffin
- Grilled chicken sandwich or Chicken wrap
- Turkey burger or 7 oz sirloin steak
All of the items on the list are believed to be healthy to eat but when you see the breakdown of why they aren’t, it makes you think twice. I knew the tuna melt was a bad call because that sandwich has tons of mayo and melted cheese. I think once you get into the habit of breaking down the foods you eat, you realize what will make the better choice.
