Being a fan of reality tv shows, particularly the ones dealing with fitness, I was excited to find out about Oxygen's new show called Fight Girls. The show focuses on seven female fighters training to be the three who will travel to Thailand to fight for the World Championship belt in Muay Thai (Thai Boxing.)
The women are being trained by Master Toddy who you may recognize from MTV's series "True Life" which featured an episode on Muay Thai boxers. The fighters will be trained in Las Vegas for a six week period and exposes their experiences inside and outside of the ring.
I think this will be an interesting show and will be another way to see just how hard fighters train. The show premiers August 7th at 9pm EST.
