I like running and out of all of the physical activity I do, I run the most. I know that I have been neglecting my other muscles however and so I’ve purchased two items that I think will help me tone up and focus on all of my muscle groups. I have purchased a resistance band and Gilad: Ultimate Body Sculpt Series – Cuts & Curves. For Gilad’s videos, you usually need a set of dumbbells but I read in the reviews that a resistance band is also used. I’ve always wanted to buy a resistance band so this was a good match. I plan on purchasing the other two videos in his series eventually. He also has a show on FitTV that I follow and the reason I like his workouts is because he really focuses in on muscles that I never pay attention to such as: glutes, abs, triceps, biceps, chest lats, quads, and calves.
When I run, I am primarily doing it for the cardio workout which is why my strength training needs help. The video will be like having my own personal guru at my beck and call. Between my cardio workouts and Gilad’s shows, I should be shaping up nicely for the summer.
