My biggest struggle with weight loss has been my diet. This is probably the case for many overweight individuals. Just like many people, I have tried a few of the fad diets which did nothing for me. Luckily, I finally enjoy working out everyday but I’m still stuck on what foods I should be eating.

I’m so glad I have read the The Eat-Clean Diet: Fast Fat-Loss that lasts Forever!. It is written by Tosca Reno. Tosca had struggled with her weight for more than twenty years. At age forty, she changed her life by using the Eat-Clean diet. During the first year of using it, she lost weight and became a fitness model. That is amazing!

There are several things I love about the book. For one, it has a ton of really nice photos which makes it more of a fun read. She writes from the viewpoint of a busy person. The average person has either a job, school, a family, or more occupying their lives. The Eat-Clean Diet emphasizes eating 5-6 small meals a day. That may sound impossible for the average person but it can be done. Tosca was able to do it while going through a divorce and raising her children.

The best thing I like about this book is that eating clean is a lifestyle. It isn’t a “diet” in the sense of the fad diets that drop pounds and then gain even more when it’s over. If you’re having trouble with how to eat healthy, this book is a good start.
