The issue is saturation. The body is only able to absorb so much of any nutrient, protein, carbohydrate, etc... What it does not absorb it will try an store as ugly fat.  What is important for all to understand is what your weight goals are, and eat accordingly. Muscle can only use so much protein. Understand your Weight gain goals must match your  BMI goals. Just remember the number one rule in weight building; You Cannot get big unless you eat big. -Just make sure it is the big you want, and taking in more calories than you burn will create fat cells. Protein calories create fat cells. Also you should spread your calories protein or otherwise over the course of the day. As someone in the post already pointed out Protein is better at night as it is harder for the body to break down into fat cells (something that does not go away naturally, but only shrink).  Sorry for this post being all over the place, but these arguments over simplify things. For most athletes Chocolate milk is a great post workout recovery/reward drink, however if you are hardcore stacking and a beast in the gym, Chocolate milk will more than likely not meet your needs. -In which case use a high quality protein drink with milk or water depending on your cycle.</description>

		<description>Most people here are comparing chocolate milk to WHEY Protein. As this is the cheaper alternative to protein  shakes, its not the best. Sure it may be better than WHEY. i think the reason most people are seeing better results from their chocolate milk is because it is in fact BETTER than their cheap protein supplements. 

If you really are serious about gaining muscle mass, and having quick recovery times between lifts, go with the more expensive Protein supplements. They give you so much more than just protein alone (Which milk does as well, but shouldn&#039;t you be drinking your milk anyways?). In fact the supplement I&#039;m taking now (Which is BSN True Mass) actually incorporates milk with their protein blend. I ended up getting a flavor called Chocolate Milk-shake. So instead of pitting milk against protein supplements, Why not incorporate both! It has worked for me, why not try it for yourself?</description>
